A Word from Pastor AJ

We are happy to welcome UU Justice Ministry of California (UUJMCA) as a  Covenanting Community with UUs for Racial Justice and The Mountain Top UU.

As we look forward to growing our Racial Justice community to have even more impact in and rooting out racism and racial bias in our UU communities, we are looking for your input as we enter the planning stages for the 2024-25 congregational year beginning in September.

We would like to know: What types of projects, activities, and trainings are you interested in and would be the most beneficial for your community and congregation?

We can only do this work with your support and contributions of time, talent, and treasure. Over the next few weeks, we will asking you to consider how you can more actively participate in our ministry of equity, education, and inclusion.

  • Can you serve on our UURJ Vision & Values Team?
  • Can you volunteer to serve as a representative of your congregation to UURJ?
  • Can you make a monthly or other financial contribution?

Additionally, if your congregation is not a Covenanting Community, please consider contacting your congregational leadership to become a financial supporter of UURJ, and making a contribution to provide pastoral support to our BIPoC siblings through the work of The Mountain Top UU and continued support for rooting out racial bias in our communities. Finally, please join us with All Souls UU Church in Colorado Springs at Pikes Pride Parade on June 9th!
