Race & Congregational Life – (9/25)
Your leadership and commitment are vital to this transformative work.
This month we will set our priorities for the upcoming congregational year, with a focus on fostering antiracist leadership among religious professionals and have a discussion on anti immigrant rhetoric about the City of Aurora.
This meeting will center on strategies to support and empower leaders in our faith communities to actively confront and dismantle systemic racism.
We will discuss initiatives, training programs, and collaborative efforts to ensure that our leadership reflects our commitment to racial justice.
Your participation is crucial as we work together to build a more inclusive and equitable religious environment. All are welcome to contribute their ideas and perspectives!
This event is open to all Religious Professionals who are committed to confronting and removing racism from our communities.
The Goals of these meetings:
- Meaningful dialogue, collegiality, and relationship building
- Connecting with The Mountain Top Leadership
- Fostering and practicing antiracist leadership models
- Sharing best practices that promote justice, inclusion, and equality
